Princess Gouri in her ninth talk with Zuzana Zwiebel explains how you can open the inner eye in anyone, in any age and in any stage of life.
I do not have any particular favourite symbol, but the family has the ‘conch’ symbol.
THE TRAVANCORE ROYAL FAMILY is the ruling house of the Indian princely state of Travancore. The family lost the ruling rights in 1949 when Travancore Kingdom merged with the Indian Union and their privileges were abolished by a constitutional amendment in 1971. The Travancore Royalty could be also considered descendants of the ancient Cheras, Ay-Venad, Pandya and Chola dynasties, due to consistent intermarriages with these lines over the centuries. The Travancore royals are among the rare breed of royals who follow the matrilineal system. The members of the family are based in Trivandrum, Kerala and are the ones who keep alive the traditions and rituals of their ancient dynasty including the upkeep of the famous Sree Padmanabhaswami Temple. Actually, the concept of creation started with the sound of 'aum-karam'. So they said: “Oh, this is all in mythology!” But when the scientists said, that the 'Big Bang Theory', during which the Earth was created, was with sound, then everybody said: “Oh, yes, yes…”
Also if you look at ten reincarnation of God Vishnu, life begun in the water - a fish, then a tortoise, then a boar, a lion, a small man (dwarf) Vamana, Parashurama with the strong weapons - the stone age, Rama with metal tipped weapons - the metal age, Balarama who was pasteurizer and agriculturists, Krishna - the perfect human being and now what will come is Kalki and his weapons are all with the lot of flashes and sounds - it is a nuclear warfare - you are bounced.
The whole theory of evolution is described in 'Dashavatara'. It is science. But you know, in the older days, what we did not do, was to explain things to people. You would say: “Do this, it should be done this way!” The 'why' and 'where', nobody bother to explain. But today, you can explain, you can teach children, you can teach adults. You can open the inner eye in anyone, in any age and in any stage of life.

'Padmanabhadasa' - The lotus, where Saraswathi, the goddess of knowledge, sits and play the vena. The lotus, on which Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, stands. And we could continue... The lotus is an integral part of Indian thoughts, Indian religion and Indian mythology. There are many many explanations for each petal - it is too complicated and my knowledge is too limited to give you satisfactory answer.
Few years ago I participated in an inaugural function in the convent. Many cardinals and church people surrounded me and we had discussion. I shared my opinion, why Christian religion has adopted the cross as its symbol.
The cross does not have very happy connotations in Christian religion, because it is where Jesus Christ was crucified. It is not a happy thought, but I have my own way of interpretation, why the ancients, accepted the cross.
According me, the stick of the cross is the symbol for “I” (she is showing one finger on her hand), but if you cut the “I” (she is crossing one finger with another), you cut your ego. So when the “I” is cut, then you find peace. I believe this is the reason why cross was accepted as a symbol of Christianity. Not because of the unhappy connotations of your prophet being crucified. What a horrible way to kill a person!
Cardinals did not say anything. I do not know what they thought about it, whether they accepted it or they thought: “what was this foolish woman talking all the nonsense.”

He asks, why is all the rum gone. He is searching the stillness in the flow of the water and finding out, that there is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark!
He calls himself The Lone-traveller. In section about him is written: Don’t have a clue yet. He silently stalks Kochi Muziris Biennale artists and transform their visions into photographs.
